How do breeders make money when that is all they do? I am planning on showing the month of April when it’s breeding season, and then I need a worst case scenario and I think I will do that for the month of September and not sell any weanlings.

Furthermore they have stud farms where they have both horses and mares of high quality.. known to have won races. These horses have been carefuly bred by selective mating to obtain really good horses. And in my experience, most people who work in a shelter or rescue (and more than half of my friends are in this field) would prefer to adopt.

Can somebody help me with this?
