We have eleven Yorkies. All loved, spoiled, and very well taken care of. By and large the people who buy show quality or show lines of any breed.

Are not the people who are looking for a pet out of a shelter. I love all animals and yes the shelters are heart breaking. But my point is, bad pet owners are the problem not breeders as a whole. And I am not talking about puppy mills. That is a different subject.
